The Six Books of Moses: A Record of Divine Revelation

In the beginning, a priesthood was established that would continue until the end of the world. This prophecy, spoken by Adam as he was guided by the Holy Ghost, foretold the existence of this priesthood throughout history. The children of God were taught to read and write in their pure and undefiled language, a skill passed down through generations.

Adam's book of remembrance recorded events and prophecies in his native tongue, which was given to those who called upon God to write by the power of inspiration. As the righteous men of that time began to call upon the name of the Lord, they were blessed by Him.

One such individual was Enos, born to Adam after Seth's birth. Adam glorified God for appointing a new seed in place of Abel, who had been tragically slain by Cain. God revealed Himself to Seth, and unlike his brother Abel, Seth did not rebel against the divine will but instead offered an acceptable sacrifice.

Adam's story continues with him knowing his wife again, and she bearing a son named Seth. Later, Adam hearkened unto the voice of God and called upon his sons to repent, setting an example for future generations.

These accounts, recorded in the six books of Moses, serve as a testament to the enduring power of faith and the importance of calling upon the name of the Lord.
